Commissions Analyst Reviews

What is it like working as a Commissions Analyst?

March 2023
The team itself is GREAT.
Commissions Analyst in Pasadena:
Pros: The people who work in the trenches alongside of you are the best part of the job. They really lift you up and stay alongside you as you all try and get to the finish line together. Many of these co-workers are going to be friends for life. They make the really hard days tolerable and they are often the reason you reconsider leaving.
Cons: It feels really difficult to try and earn more money. It feels like you are trapped in your pay without the opportunity for any significant growth. The small teams don't seem to grow in numbers or pay yet our jobs seem to grow more difficult as the company grows and makes so many changes. The company hasn't even kept up with inflation, keeping "merit increases" under 5%... and I have never seen a 5% raise but I hear the average increase is 3-5%.

Responsible For Providing Sales Force With Correct Computations.
Commissions Analyst:
Pros: I love the challenge of the job. I am humbled knowing that we have been entrusted to pay our sales force. Our sales force looks to us for their commissions, and making sure that they are correct.
Cons: Our compensation is not comparable to the job we do. We have been tasked with translating their computation plan into the correct dollar amount.
