Cashier Reviews

What is it like working as a Cashier?

July 2014
Make An Informed Choice.
Cashier:
I wish I had majored in education. Teachers make a good salary. I made a mistake with my Major. No job prospects, get another job. This is the bottom!
July 2014
Cashier:
Pros: We work as a team.
Cons: Hardly any room for growth.
July 2014
Not Bad.
Cashier:
Pros: I love interacting and meeting new people on a daily basis. Also, the regulars who come in everyday, some of which just to see you who may not otherwise have someone to talk too. I love helping people with their coupons to find good deals.
Cons: Can be stressful and understaffed at times. Management also tends to just want to sit in the office and not help ring people up. The pay is awful. Customers can be rude at times but that's really anywhere you work in customer service. Your breaks are so short to where I'm not even sure if they reach the legal minimum.

Corporate Culture, Work Flexibility, Perks.
Cashier:
Pros: Employees are treated with respect and I like the corporate culture. Work flexibility works for me due to children. Busy place and time goes fast.
Cons: Nothing.
June 2014
Headaches.
Cashier:
Pros: Love the customers!
Cons: The way the boss runs things.
May 2014
Working At Home Depot.
Cashier:
Pros: I not only work as a cashier, but also do returns. I like the interfacing with customers.
Cons: Long hours, lack of proper pay.
April 2014
Some time stress full and Mindanao.
Cashier:
Pros: The health benefit and pay check.
