Help graduates develope professionally and assist job search.

Pros: Talking with and advising the graduates on professionalism and work place etiquette. Building relationships and report with both graduates and employers. The feeling of satisfaction knowing that you helped someone achieve their dreams and grow professionally to the point their lives are changed forever.

Set your own schedule, independent work, out of office,
Career Advisor:
Pros: I get to help adults with disabilities find jobs.
Cons: I have to manage a very diverse base of clients with multiple mental or physical barriers. It is very stressful and requires a lot of flexibility in scheduling appointments and tracking client progress. I have to be a cheerleader and mother hen.... Sometimes even a little bit of Tough Love comes into play when a client is having trouble focusing on the task. I am also the link between the employment community and my clients. I have to keep up on job openings and make sure that job applications are finished correctly.
