Bank Teller Reviews

What is it like working as a Bank Teller?

June 2021
Bank Teller in Milwaukee:
This job is not meant for highly sensitive individuals. It is definitely a high-stress work environment. The nature of the job requires attention to detail while being quick and efficient. Caution is mandatory for the safety of the customer and employees at all times as well as attention to the current laws and procedures. It's also expected that consistent sales are up to the branch expectation. This job would be great for a resilient, self-driven, and decisive individual who works well with a team. Many learning opportunities are available with options to branch out to various banking departments. I'm thankful for my experience here, but it was a difficult and painful experience.

Lots of People, Lots of Business.
Bank Teller in Rowland Heights:
Pros: Working in Rowland Heights keeps you close to supermarkets, restaurants, shops, and other attractions. It is also a residential neighborhood. It is generally safe.
Cons: Lots of local traffic during rush hour.
October 2020
Great experience in learning the ins and out of banking.
Bank Teller in Naples:
Pros: My most likable think about my job is the knowledge I have gained about finance since working for J.P. Morgan Chase. I also really like that I’ve been given opportunities to work my way up and still have flexibility.
Cons: This job requires you to do your research and do your training on the procedures and guidelines for how to conduct you job and handle complaints on the retail side of banking. That being said, you must be comfortable with trying your up most to not get frustrated when trying to help customers when you don’t have the answer and a customer is starting to get frustrated with you. Many of these small issues -not concerning legal actions against you or the company- can be handled in the store with the right verbiage and don’t be afraid to ask another team members to get involved if you are unsure, this has always been highly advised in my role.
August 2020
Under appreciated, underpaid, need rest.
Bank Teller in Doylestown:
Pros: Experience/cash handling
Cons: Condescending, pathological lying management.
