Assistant Controller (Financial) Reviews
What is it like working as an Assistant Controller (Financial)?
March 2015
Love my job.
Assistant Controller (Financial):
Pros: My own boss.
Cons: Stressful at times.
January 2014
Have Determination.
Assistant Controller (Financial):
Be prepared to put in long work hours and to have the resolve to work through numbers to get to conclusions. This builds up your experience and it gets easier and less daunting the more you do it. You learn to always look for better ways to do things and evolve the role continuously. Also if you go through processes from scratch you know what is involved so when you are managing others you have an idea of how long it takes and how to organize and delegate within a team.
