Pros: Self managing my projects. Opinions are voiced and heard, lots of opportunity to design, learn construction methods, and hands-on experience working in the field and construction sites. Coordinating with other engineers, learning from contractors, and working to better communicate with our clients.
Cons: Sometimes long hours are spent at the office. Weekend work and not getting paid overtime.
