Aesthetician (Medical) Reviews
What is it like working as an Aesthetician (Medical)?
August 2019
Terrible.
Aesthetician (Medical) in Regina:
Pros: Helping others
Cons: The manager plays favorites, creates an atmosphere of animosity. Hires her friends. Makes threats. Pays her friends more. She lies and swears.
June 2015
What you don't realize.
Aesthetician (Medical):
It is rare to find a full time job and you should expect to work evenings, weekends, and even the occasional holiday. Benefits and paid leave are also rare so expect you may have to pay for your own. Competition can be steep and your career will depend on growing a faithful clientele even if you do work in a medical office.
November 2014
Medical Aesthetician.
Aesthetician (Medical):
Pros: The people I work with.
Cons: Pay.
July 2014
Skin Care Is Very Personal.
Aesthetician (Medical):
My advise is to treat others as you would like to be treated.
1. Listen to your patient and I mean really talk to them, they will give you great hidden pearls about their skin in average conversation if you just listen!
2. Educate and explain everything to them re: products and procedures.
3. Follow through and follow up with them, everyone loves to feel special.
4. Give verbal and written post care instructions, you may be a skin care expert but keep in mind that they are our patients and do not have the knowledge that we do.
5. Be kind and caring. You may not think that the problem that they came to see you about is that big or severe but to the patient it is and that is all that truly matters, what they see.
