Wal-Mart Stores, Inc Reviews
What is it like working at Wal-Mart Stores, Inc?
Self managed.
Asset Protection Associate in Malone:
Pros: I know what I need to do and I don't have someone constantly looking overy shoulder criticizing me
Cons: I'm only one person and it's difficult sometimes to catch shoplifters. And not into the competition with other stores to see who catches the most shoplifters.
Not a good place to work. Managment follows u through the store and yells at u. And makes u feel terrible.
Sales Associate in King George:
Pros: The pay check.
Cons: Mangers
Managers do not listen to feedback, many problems but I won't go into a whole story.
Produce Stocker (Grocery) in Dallas:
Pros: None
Cons: Managers don't care
Depressing.
Sales Associate in Palatine:
Pros: Friendly coworkers and good environment
Cons: I do not get paid enough. I get paid the ABSOLUTE minimum.
Stressful.
Production Supervisor in Woodland:
Pros: Clearly defined expectations
Cons: Inconsistent hours and days off, consistent short staffing and turn around, and poor ability to provide resources needed to complete tasks.
Under staffed.
Department Manager, Retail Store in St. Petersburg:
Pros: Good hours. Job I know well and like the core job.
Cons: Job expectations are high, but no tools or help to do all this is required.
Deli Clerk in Toronto:
Pros: My manager is great and let me do things (to a degree) my way when i close as long as I follow protocol and get it done. Very accommodating to my schedule and needs as well!
Cons: Some of my coworkers get away with not doing their job all the time which is frustrating as everyone else has to pick up the slack
