It has its good moments and it has its bad moments.

Cons: No way to get better positions without losing anything you lose your benefits if you move up to middle management

Pros: The dynamic is very family-like and provides an international connection of support systems. They are also dedicated to furthering knowledge of employees and provide many learning opportunities.
Cons: In a male-dominated industry, I have faced many inappropriate situations as a female. I often must work harder to prove myself as capable as my male engineering counterparts. It can be challenging to dive into the root of a problem in operations, since it is also male-dominated.
