Senior Technical Support Engineer in Bucharest:
Pros: Opportunities to learn
Cons: Very hard leveling system and merit increase. It looks like outsiders are valued more than an experienced engineer with +2 years experience in the company. It doesn't really matter that much how much experienced a candidate has been before since once he will land within a Microsoft role, he/she will still have to go through the processes of learning the tools, microsoft products and the cultural thinking. Managers and HR often consider the age, experience of a candidate through which they offer "competitive" salaries which are often higher than what a senior engineer is awarded
Great company, brilliant people but not for everyone.

Cons: The paperwork
