Dollar Tree Stores Inc Reviews
What is it like working at Dollar Tree Stores Inc?
I love it hard work but time goes fast.
Stocker:
Pros: The co workers are nice.
No raises given.
Stocker:
Pros: People I work with.
Cons: They do not give raises.
Good place.
Cashier:
Pros: Its a great work enviroment. Very fast paced, very little conflict with other employers. Very nice laid back boss but he takes good care of us and the store.
Cons: Bad location, too much of a drive, rude customers most of the time. Parking varys on busy days.
It's fun.
Cashier:
Pros: I get to meet and speak to new people everyday and I love the people I work with on a daily basis.
Cons: Not enough pay for what "us" employees have to deal with.
Bad experience.
Retail Store Manager:
Pros: I enjoyed helping the customers.
Cons: No support given, hours are taken from your store to support other inefficient stores, store managers work longer hours with no supporting associates.
Assistant Store Manager:
Pros: I've been there for so long I have a lot of regulars(customers). I like coming into work and seeing the smiles on my cashiers and customers when they see me. I like the hours because I drive my son to and from school so I get to close my store during the week.
Cons: What I like least is that the store I'm at is one of the biggest ones and when we don't make sales we have to cut employees and the first one to be cut is my floor help so that means not only am I doing my job I'm also wringing a register and cleaning the whole store plus putting every piece of merchandise back. I get pto and sick pay that I am hardly able to use because"it's not a good time" and it gets taken and I punch out for a unpaid 30 min break but don't actually take it I'm usually being called to wring on a register because there's a line.
I am working because I love working with the public.
Cashier:
Pros: Talking and communicating with the people I serve. Listening to some of.
Their stories. Knowing I have helped someone really makes me feel good.
Cons: They are cutting our hours because of store transformation.
