Accenture Reviews

What is it like working at Accenture?

A Good Firm for Tech-Oriented People.
Management Consultant:
Pros: Good people, generally, though the people are often tied to the work environment of the client. Typically will pay a bit of a premium for new hires, but don't expect much in the way of raises or bonuses except on promotion or if you're rated in the top 10%--and sometimes it still isn't much.
Cons: The work is very tech-oriented for management consulting. Most of the programs have a tech angle. It's also difficult to find a good role unless you get lucky. I've gotten lucky, but I've seen others flail.
Good technical growth but no career growth.
Software Engineer:
Pros: Technical/skill capability on microsoft platform.
Cons: Payscale, rewards, people, recognition.
Cross Functional And Cross Geography Exposure.
Management Consultant:
Pros: 1. Ability to tap into global network of highly skilled resources. 2. Leading clients with complex business problems. 3. Exposure to leading business models and first hand experience.
Cons: Strong tilt towards technological projects in consulting and managing work space.
Best Place For Freshers!
Associate Software Engineer:
Pros: My job allows me to interact directly with high level stakeholders and clients. I am satisfied with the work I get here and the environment where I work.
Cons: Due to strategic decisions taken at the higher level, the company is however progressing to become an Indian MNC.
Good Company to start a career
Software Engineer:
Pros: Training in latest skills, give hot skill bonus, good increments.
Cons: Very hectic Job, performance is very much dependent upon your relation with your manager
Good company
Project Manager, Software Development:
Pros: Good. Company to work for. Good culture
Cons: Nothing much. Its pretty decent place to work
