Jacobs Engineering Group Inc Reviews

What is it like working at Jacobs Engineering Group Inc?

Average company with average benefits.
Civil Engineer in Toronto:
Pros: The projects
Cons: The pay
A good starting point.
Environmental Scientist in Raleigh:
Pros: The flexibility
Cons: The inability to prove your worth
Great Atmosphere, Uncertain Advancement.
Data Security Analyst in Washington:
Pros: I like the people here, and the opportunity to grow and learn simply by talking to people. It's simply difficult to understand how one potentially moves to other contracts or internal employment opportunities within the company. Salary advancement is also a bit opaque, as the company in 2018 has focused on mergers and acquisitions. Given the merger process, they've needed time to re-evaluate how career growth is defined and how it occurs. I'm confident that this will not be an issue in 2019.
Cons: Continued learning and education seminars are not as good as some companies I've been with such as Accenture or Booz Allen Hamilton, but I'm certain that is subject to change as the merger processes continue to solidify.
Stressed and overworked.
Civil Engineer in Denver:
Pros: Large projects and variety of work.
Cons: No transparency from upper management, red tape excuses are common from higher ups for any advancement opportunity you wish to take. While they say they wish to distribute workload, truth is people are unwilling or unable to share any work and then complain they are over worked. Company is top heavy and sees little need to hire the rank and file yet they continue to expect more and more out of the stressed people they currently have.
Stressful, unappreciated.
Journeyman Carpenter in Kingsport:
Pros: Working with my hands
Cons: Pay , worrying about tomorrow
Diversified projects.
Mechanical Engineer in Mumbai:
Pros: self working culture
Cons: management not have concern on employee
Hard work.
Senior Project Manager, Engineering in Seattle:
Pros: Projects
Cons: Promotions and salary
