IKEA Reviews

What is it like working at IKEA?

Not an easy job, but very rewarding.
Retail Merchandiser in Memphis:
Pros: My coworkers and the values that IKEA stands for. Even though it is very stressful at times, we all come together as a team.
Cons: I believe that we are underpaid, especially in my position at my store. We are the backbone but get treated poorly at times.
I get a mixture of being a cashier and being in returns and handling management like cases.
Customer Service Associate in Las Vegas:
Pros: The people
Cons: N/a
Facilities Manager in Melbourne:
This was a surprisingly horrible place to work. The organisation does not effectively apply its values to the way staff are treated, the values actually function as more of a marketing campaign; marketing the organisation to co-workers and to customers. Some powerful people actually go against the organisations values. This was by far the worst employment I've ever had. This organisation really needs to put in place anonymised staff satisfaction surveys conducted by a third-party.
Stress full.
Sales Associate in Dartmouth:
Pros: Some of the people
Cons: The pay and constant changes that ruin the so called work life balance they offer
Warehouse Worker:
IKEA is a great place to work for but pay isn't so great but benefits are great. I love IKEA values. The co-workers is very friendly and helpful to help you if needed in any function. Night shift do need more pay for the work at Ikea.
Everything is great!
Quantity Surveyor in Moscow:
Pros: Relationship between co-workers
Cons: Initial data from requesters
