Live-In Caregiver in New Smyrna Beach:
Pros: I do not have a bureaucracy keeping me from providing the best care possible, I don’t have to commute, casual dress.
Cons: It’s very stressful at times taking care of an elderly person with dementia & a variety of other ailments whose grown children are all in denial about her level of incapacity & constantly interfere with her treatment. It is difficult telling them that I work for their mother, not them, when they cancel appointments or tell her that she doesn’t need prescribed medication.

My Boss never gives me time off when I need it, and his relationship with me frankly oversteps the bounds of professional propriety. I've even caught him touching me inappropriately during office hours.
